Diamonds That Care, the social responsibility initiative of ALROSA, the worlds largest diamond miner by volume, initiated this charity auction and invited Anna Hu to create the set, with the aim of inspiring beautiful creations which help people in need. The company provided more than 500 colorless and fancy colored brown-toned polished diamonds, including a fancy brown-yellow 27-carat stone, to give life to Hus three inspirational designs.
Diamonds That Care will transfer the proceeds from the auction to the Brave of Heart Fund via the global nonprofit organization Diamonds Do Good. The funds will support the Brave of Heart Fund, which was founded to provide financial and emotional support to the families of frontline healthcare workers and volunteers who lose their lives in the COVID-19 fight.
