SHANGHAI, CHINA.- A local visitor stands in front of a contemporary installation work "It's really nice" by French artist Pierrick Sorin during the Exhibition of Nouvelles Vagues by Centre Pompidou at Shanghai Art Museum, 17 January 2005. The French contemporary exhibion started 17 January untill 25 February. L'exposition "News vague" is the faithful reflection of this transdisciplinarity. Indeed, at the beginning of the year 1960 appears, with the "New wave", a cinema who renews the techniques of narration and the treatment of l'image, at the same time qu'un certain number of movements d'avant-guard in the visual arts. However the realizer Jean-Luc Godard s interess with the painting, to which it refers in his films; and the painter Christian Boltanski will hesitate a time between the careers of scenario writer and d artist. From the years 1980 and 1990, photography draws in its turn its inspiration in films of the "New wave". L'exposition present of the film extracts of Godard and the artists who use the two fixed and animated d'images types. With? ouvres of Martial Raysse, Christian Boltanski, Daniel Buren (years 1960-1970), paintings of Erro or Philippe Knocked, photographs of Jean-Marc Bustamante or Valerie Jouve, vidéos of Pierrick Sorin or Angel Leccia.
