8 Ways to Maintain Good Mental & Physical Health During COVID-19 Quarantine

Are you looking for different ways to maintain good mental and physical health? We have some useful tips. Once you go through them, it will be a lot easier for you to cope with this situation!

Stay in touch
Just because you have to do social distance it doesn’t mean that you should isolate yourself totally. Don’t forget to keep in touch with your friends and family. In the era of social media and modern technology, keeping in touch is very easy. After all, we are social creatures and find the process of socializing very pleasant. Call your friends or arrange video chats on a daily basis.

Bicycling
It is very important that you stay active at all times. You can roll down the streets with one of the modern bikes for women. Keep in mind that bicycling is an excellent cardio exercise that you should practice often. It isn’t forbidden during the quarantine, but be sure that you follow the safety rules. Don’t ride in a large group and wear a mask whenever needed, according to the local health authorities. If you don’t have a bike, check some ladies hybrid bike offers.

Get sunshine
Although we should stay at home, you should get some sunshine. The sun rays will provide your body with the much-needed vitamin D. You are still allowed to take fresh air, but be sure that you respect the rules imposed by the local authorities. Keep the needed distance and avoid crowded places. Whether you choose to stroll down the empty street with your men’s bike or just want to walk around to stretch your legs, keep up to date with the authorities for any new information.

Excercise
Exercise is very important for your physical and mental health. During exercise, your body releases the happiness hormone, which will help you stay relaxed. With having so many videos and live workouts, you can start even today.

Eat healthy food
If your excuse was not having enough time to eat healthily, now it isn’t valid. Being in quarantine means that you have plenty of time to cook. Explore different healthy recipes and find the ones that you like the most. And if you don't have time to cook make sure you're taking healthy supplements like tart cherry extract to get important nutrients like antioxidants and vitamin c. Also, avoid eating junk food when you are bored.

Be productive
Think of the quarantine as having enough time to do the things that you always wanted. Maybe you can get back to your old hobby. You can also learn a new language with an online course. Don’t let the feeling of doing nothing overwhelm you.

Get information from trusted sources
Follow trusted sources to keep updated about the situation. If it makes you feel anxious, focus your mind on something else. But make sure that you always keep up to date for possible new restrictions and measures that can change your daily activities.

Meditate
Meditation is a great way to relax your body and relieve your mind. If the current situation makes you feel anxious, then simply start practicing meditation. There are so many online guides and videos on how to do it.
