LONDON.- In light of the current situation, and in accordance with government advice,
Bonhams is taking extra health and safety precautions to protect both clients and staff.
From Friday 20 March, Bonhams offices will be closed (with the exception of Bonhams Hong Kong) and salerooms in UK (New Bond Street and Knightsbridge, London and Edinburgh), New York, and Los Angeles, will be closed to the general public, with the exception of viewings, strictly by appointment.
Revised format sales effective immediately
The following sales scheduled to be held at Bonhams Knightsbridge, Edinburgh and Los Angeles salerooms will go ahead behind closed doors. Bids can be made on the telephone, online and as absentee bids as usual, but clients will not be able to bid in person in the room. Clients will be able to view items in advance of the sale, strictly by appointment.
