TOKYO, JAPAN.- German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder (R) looks at a painting as Isamu Adachi (L), chairman of the Adachi Foundation for wood carvings looks on, during a visit to the Ota Memorial Museum of Art in Tokyo, 09 December 2004. Schroeder is interested in art and wanted to see Japanese wood carving. Schroeder is here for a three-day official visit to meet with Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. At (C) is Antje Vollmer, the vice-president of the German Bundestag.
