SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA.- The Folio Gallery presents “Slim Aarons: The Good Life” through January 8, 2005. “Slim Aarons: The Good Life,” an exhibition of 45 original signed prints from world renowned photographer, Slim Aarons, features glamorous portraits of the rich and famous in their exclusive playgrounds during the jet-setting ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s. The show provides not only the ultimate insider’s view of the lifestyles of the wealthy, privileged, and powerful, but also a nostalgic look at a lost era of style, grace, and grandeur.

From Hugh Hefner to the Kennedys, Slim Aarons has devoted his career to capturing images of luxury, extravagance and refinement. This gallery show features Hollywood royalty, European aristocracy, the grande dames of high society, captains of industry, media moguls, statesmen, and luminaries of various stripes, across a vast geography of glamorous and opulent settings.

Slim Aarons has spent the past six decades chronicling the lives of the international elite. His photographs carry out his self-described mission of documenting “attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.” Now, 45 of his alluring images are included in an exhibit titled “Slim Aarons: The Good Life.”
