LOS ANGELES, CA.- The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person deserves the chance to succeed - so to raise funds for its work it is auctioning a collection of spectacular showbiz outfits of leading musicians and actors with Julien’s Auctions’ upcoming ICONS & IDOLS: ROCK-N-ROLL auction event on Saturday, November 10 live in Hard Rock Café in New York and online at juliensauctions.com. A marquee lineup featuring of items donated by Britney Spears, Lionel Richie, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Joan Collins, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and more will star on the auction stage.

The mission of The Prince’s Trust is to help 11 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school, to transform their lives. The Trust programme helps with practical advice and financial support, building confidence and stabilizing lives, helping young people to achieve their potential. Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, the charity has helped some 900,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each day. The sale by Julien’s Auctions will provide 100% of hammer price directly to the charity.

Celebrity memorabilia is one of the most bouyant parts of the collectables market at auction says Darren Julien, chairman of the company that will be selling these glamorous items: “If you have always wanted to own something worn by one of your heroes, a rock music legend, actor or performer, this is your opportunity to achieve that dream while assisting The Prince’s Trust to help do something great for young people in Britain.”

The items for sale were all worn during the performance careers of this star studded cast of singers and actors, all of whom have a huge international following with many millions of fans. Their support for The Prince’s Trust is evidence of their great respect for the work of the Trust in changing lives.

JOAN COLLINS NOLAN MILLER COUTURE EVENING COAT
Joan Collins has donated a Nolan Miller couture evening coat - a satin scarlet double-breasted trench coat worn by her to the opening night of La Cage aux Folles in New York in 2004. Miller designed the costumes for Collins role in Dynasty (ABC, 1981-1989). The coat is accompanied by an image from the collection of Joan Collins. Donated by Joan Collins. Estimate $1,000-2,000.

MICK JAGGER CUSTOM MADE AND SIGNED JACKET
A custom-made black leather motorcycle jacket with “The Rolling Stones” on one sleeve, four tongue and lips logo on the other, and a tongue and lips logo on the back. Mick Jagger has signed the back in black marker “Best Wishes Mick Jagger X.” Donated by Mick Jagger. Estimate: $4,000-6,000

A Gibson SG 50th Anniversary guitar in white signed on the body in black marker by Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey. Serial number 124120668. Accompanied by a hard shell case with “WHO” stenciled in silver paint. Donated by The Who $2,000-4,000

BARBRA STREISAND’S HALTER-NECK DRESS FROM ‘ALL NIGHT LONG’.
A custom-made mint green jersey dress worn by Streisand in All Night Long (Universal, 1981) and in promotional images for the film. Accompanied by a promotional studio image of Streisand wearing the dress and a pair of strappy sandals believed to be the pair worn in the film. Donated by Barbara Streisand. Estimate $800-1,200

JOHN LENNON
LIMITED EDITION PRINT
A limited edition print of John Lennon’s caricatures of his Quarry Bank High School schoolmates playing music, numbered 31/100. Accompanied by a handwritten letter of authenticity from Helen Anderson, Lennon’s classmate and friend at Liverpool Art College.

PAUL MCCARTNEY SIGNED COMPACT DISC SET

A Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band super deluxe anniversary edition six-disc set with compact discs and DVD, personally signed by Paul McCartney to the winning bidder of this lot. Donated by Paul McCartney. $2,000-4,000

An ensemble worn by Britney Spears throughout her 2011 “I Wanna Go” music video consisting of a white leather jacket with safety pin, studs, and metal tassel decorations from Faith Connexion, customized by her stylist, David Thomas; a black ruffled miniskirt from Ashton Michael; a Beach Bunny red and white polka dot bikini top with white fringe and red bow detail; a pair of aviator sunglasses from DVB with a reddish-orange tint; and a pair of Vivienne Westwood multicolored checkered socks. BRYAN ADAMS AND PRETTY WOMAN CAST SIGNED GUITAR
A Fender FA-100 acoustic guitar signed in black marker by Brian Adams and 40 additional members of the cast and crew of the Broadway production of Pretty Woman. Serial number CFF1680645. Accompanied by a handwritten and signed letter from Bryan Adams on his personal letterhead stating that this was one of the guitars used to write songs for the musical. Together with a soft gig bag. ANNIE LENNOX HANDWRITTEN LYRICS
A single sheet of handwritten lyrics in black pen by Annie Lennox to her 1992 song “Walking on Broken Glass.” Lennox has numbered each verse “V1,” “V2,” and “V3,” and titled the sheet in the center “Broken Glass Words and Music by Annie Lennox.” Housed in a Perspex case. Donated by Annie Lennox $800-1,200.
