NEW YORK, NY.- Online auction house Paddle8, in partnership with Miami-based The Art Design Project, launch Fame and Fortune, a sale of more than 40 fine art photographs celebrating some of the most iconic personalities of our time curated by Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque, founder of The Art Design Project. The sale features a rare group of newly printed color works by Horst P. Horst, mixed media photograph-based works by Hunter & Gatti and photographs by Paloma Castello made exclusively for this sale, which reflect on nostalgia and play with the photographic medium itself. Fame and Fortune will be live to bidders worldwide July 12 – 20, 2018.

“The selection of works in this sale revolve around concepts of drama and nostalgia,” states Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque, founder of The Art Design project. “All of the photographs feature icons who we relate to and who have influenced us through their creative work from film and music or their fascinating lives.”

Highlights of the sale include:

• Hunter & Gatti, Paris Alone (from Nothing Stays Still series), 2017, Mixed media on archival pigment print. $1,000 – $1500 (pictured center)

• Paloma Castello, Elvis Presley, 2018, Digital chromogenic print on glossy pearlescent paper, Estimate: $2,000 – $3,000 (pictured right)

• Albert Watson, Albert Watson Camera Work Portfolio (Ten Works), 1972-1993, Ten gelatin silver prints, $12,000 – $18,000.
