EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.- Come and watch Rolf Harris and over a hundred artists as they recreate one of the most famous paintings in the world - The Mona Lisa. A host of celebrities, Scottish artists and those from further afield willspend the day translating Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece onto more than a hundred canvasses which will form a giant People's Mona Lisa.

This BBC event, in collaboration with the National Galleries of Scotland, will provide activities and entertainment throughout the day, culminating in a live broadcast on BBC1 at 7pm on Sunday 28th August.

To coincide with the event, the National Gallery of Scotland will display a selection of Renaissance works from its collection, including a double-sided drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci. More information is available on the BBC's website at www.bbc.co.uk
