ZURICH.- Phillips announced the appointment of Julia Roxana Heinen as a Specialist and Regional Director for 20th Century & Contemporary Art for Switzerland, based in Zurich.

Ms. Heinen joins Phillips from Bonhams, where she was a Senior Specialist for Post-War & Contemporary Art. She will be closely aligned with Phillips offices in London and Geneva, along with several new regional representatives who recently joined the auction house in Europe, including Clarice Pecori Giraldi in Italy, Laurence Calmels in France and Alice Trier in Germany. She will also work closely with Miety Heiden, the new Head of Private Sales based in London, and Cheyenne Westphal, Phillips’s new London-based Chairman who is building on the company’s international strategy. Phillips has been expanding rapidly in the last two years with a new office in Hong Kong and additional regional representatives in Asia, the United States and Latin America.

Ms. Heinen is an experienced art advisor specializing in 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Photography, with international work experience in renowned international art galleries and auction houses. During her time at Bonhams in London, she was instrumental in the success of auctions in London, New York and Hong Kong, establishing an international client database for the auction house by focusing primarily on German and Swiss Collectors. Along with her time as a private art advisor, Ms. Heinen worked at Galerie Mitterrand + Cramer in Geneva, Galerie Hans Mayer in Düsseldorf, and Phillips, de Pury & Luxembourg in Cologne.
