PARIS.- To celebrate their return to business after the long summer break, the antique dealers and art galleries in the Carré Rive Gauche will be showcasing numerous pieces in the form of novel exhibitions or showings on September 6th during a late-night opening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saunter through the Carré Rive Gauche galleries to make your summer last a little longer and engage in the artistic and creative effervescence permeating the capital in early September.

In between the Biennale des Antiquaires, Parcours des mondes and Parcours de la céramique et des arts du feu events, Paris will don its festive finery to provide art lovers, Parisians and those who have come from afar with an immersive experience.

La Rentrée du Carré will enthusiastically take part in the festivities by offering visitors a glimpse of contemporary and yesteryear photography by authors, filmmakers and singers presented by Galerie Hegoa, a magnificent marble torso of Heracles at Chenel, Soleil couchant de Constantinople by Adolf Bachmann at Galerie Delvaille as well as an amazing 1930 tripod table in hammered copper at Michèle Hayem.

There may be photography and sculpture, paintings and furniture, but let's not forget tapestry. Galerie Chevalier will dazzle enthusiasts with its tapestry from the Ateliers de Paris. As for the eccentric jewellery pieces by Faust Cardinali showcased at the MINIMASTERPIECE gallery, they will enchant the most styleconscious of dandies in Paris.

As usual in Carré Rive Gauche, intriguing objects await you. An armillary sphere at Delalande, a perfume fountain at Galerie Tiago, a 15th-century bas-relief at Galerie Sismann, and many others...

Together with about a dozen galleries in the Carré Rive Gauche participating in the Biennale des Antiquaires and about as many in the Parcours de la céramique et des arts du feu, the galleries in the 6th and 7th arrondissements will reign in September.
