DALLAS, TX.- Heritage Auctions will present its first Fine Art auction dedicated exclusively to Modern & Contemporary Prints and Multiples on May 24, 2016 in an auction specifically designed for Fine Art collectors looking for impressive representations from top name Modern & Contemporary artists without the high six-figure price tags.

"With estimates ranging from $600+ to $100,000+ the auction offers the finest work at price levels seasoned and emerging collectors alike will respond to," said Frank Hettig, Director of Modern & Contemporary Art for Heritage Auctions in Dallas. "There are great names and great buys to be had all across this grouping and we expect that art lovers will respond accordingly."

The auction is no less than a journey through 20th and 21st century art history, featuring famed Pop artists Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg and Claes Oldenburg to contemporary New York street artist Brian Donnelly (professionally known as KAWS).

"The auction represents the most important and creative printmakers today," said Hettig, "and a great opportunity for all collecting levels."

Wayne Thiebaud will delight hungry bidders with Suckers State I, Suckers State II, Candy Counter, Candy Apples, Three Ice Cream Cones, as well as his savory Barbeque Beefs, and Sandwich, while Ed Ruscha adds an ironic twist to the picnic with Insects from 1972, Brews 1970and a screenprint on wood-veneer titled Evil from 1973.

Luxury Accessories collectors at Heritage will quickly recognize the graphic works of Takahashi Murakami, famous for his collaborations with Louis Vuitton, including the cover lot Superflat Monogram: Panda and His Friends, 2005, while more modern collectors will appreciate more than 30 works by Pablo Picasso including an extensive collection of ceramics from the Madoura pottery workshop in Vallauris, Southern France.
