NEW YORK, NY.- C24 Gallery announced its representation of Turkish artist Seçkin Pirim. C24 Gallery will present his work for the first time in the United States in a solo exhibition in fall, 2016.

Seçkin Pirim is an artist living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. His work has been exhibited internationally. Pirim is the recipient of many awards and is included in several prominent, private collections around the world.

Pirim’s conceptual sculptures explore form, color, and pattern. Working in a variety of media, his artworks examine the relationship between object and space, the dichotomy between nature and culture, and the line between art and design. His sculptures are neo minimalist forms of expression as well as contemporary strategies of art and design. They create an aesthetic that neglects social connotation and are able to form a post-futurist, post-constructivist and post-minimal vision of our world.

“Seçkin Pirim’s art is an honest, sincere process where autobiographical instinctiveness unites with spatial examination… Pirim cares about revealing the visual illusions hidden in [the] unwritten laws of nature, thus making the visual experience [interactive].”
