CALABASAS, CA.- 13 lots of Annette Funicello’s personal, historic Disney items, including her Disney Legends Award and her dancing shoes for the Mickey Mouse Club, donated by Ms. Funicello’s husband, Glen Holt, to benefit The Annette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases, highlight Profiles in History’s upcoming auction of rare and iconic Animation & Disneyana Dec.10, 2015. 100% of the hammer price for each of these items will be used to fund research into the cause, treatment, and cure of Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases.

Additional auction highlights include the original production cels and pan production background featuring the iconic “Bella Notte” scene with “Lady”, “Tramp”, “Tony” and “Joe” from Lady and the Tramp ($40,000 - $50,000); a vintage Disneyland “Haunted Mansion” stretch painting ($20,000 - $30,000); and the first “Ronald McDonald” statue installed at the first McDonaldland location ($8,000 - $12,000).
