ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA.- South Australian children of all ages will discover a very different side to their Art Gallery at this year’s Family Fun Day. Thousands of parents and children are expected to turn out on Sunday 26 October for a fun-filled day of non-stop entertainment hosted by Channel Nine’s LISA MCASKILL and made possible through the support of ETSA UTILITIES.

The Gallery will be buzzing inside and out with live music and special performances, Punch & Judy shows, storytelling and delicious food. Kids can get into face painting, art & craft activities and Eye Spy trails through the Gallery plus there’s 1000 showbags full of goodies to give away. Families can visit our exhibitions for free all day, and take part in special guided tours tailor-made for children. A selection of paintings created by South Australian children during BANK SA CHILD ART WEEK will also be on display for all to admire. Even JACOB HOLMES and NATHAN HAWKES from the ADELAIDE PURA MILK 36ERS will be dropping in to join in the fun and to show that basketball is more than a sport – it’s an art form!

With the help of ETSA UTILITIES, the Gallery provides fun and educational programs for children and families throughout the year and the Family Fun Day provides another great chance for people of all ages to get to know their Gallery in an enjoyable and informal atmosphere.
