FLINT, MICHIGAN.- The Flint Institute of Arts presents today “All American: Paintings and Sculptures from the Collection of the Flint Institute of Arts,” on view through February 1, 2004 at the Permanent Collection Galleries. In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Flint Institute of Arts, the permanent collection galleries will be reinstalled with over 100 paintings and sculptures by American artists that span the years from the newly founded republic to contemporary pieces that attest to the diversity of the country more than two centuries later. These works of art have been selected for this special presentation not only for their artistic quality, but also to display the exceptional breadth and depth of the FIA’s American art.
