SANTO DOMINGO.- Two groups of photographers put together their creativity so as to present an exhibition as a tribute to Women in the National Gallery of Fine Arts, was inaugurated on Monday 24th February.
FOTOGRUPO and the Photographic Society f/64 got together so as to present jointly the theme WOMEN´S, with 23 photographs which demonstrate in images a conceptual study of women widely speaking in present day society. Furthermore, there will also be a demonstration of the work of late photographers Vicente Tolentino and Pablo Morel as a posthumous tribute.
The Photographic Society f/64 which is made up of active and talented photographic artists and FOTOGRUPO, is a member of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP). Is the oldest of present day Dominican groups, are taking advantage of the celebration of International Womens Day on 8th March so as to present, in a fraternal photographic embrace, 75 works expressing the talent of its authors.
