DALLAS, TX.- Heritage Auctions has announced Barbara Conn has joined its growing Luxury Accessories category as a Consignment Director based in Chicago.

Conn is a native Chicagoan and Lincoln Park resident. Her expertise in the luxury handbag market is extensive, with more than a decade in the high-end accessories segment as both a business owner and consultant.

“Outside of New York, Chicago is the single most important market for us,” said Matt Rubinger, Director of Luxury Accessories. “Her relationships with buyers, sellers and premium luxury brands - along with her in-depth knowledge of the marketplace - make her a valuable asset to Heritage clients.”

Following a 15-year career in entertainment marketing, Barbara transitioned to the luxury goods arena. She is an expert in appraisal and authentication and her counsel is frequently sought in the field.

Heritage now offers vintage luxury accessories in Barneys New York Chicago as well as its flagship Madison Avenue store, Beverly Hills, and soon in San Francisco.
