MORRISTOWN, NJ.- This winter, join the
Morris Museum as they celebrate the holiday season with four new and expanded exhibitions that are sure to dazzle and delight the entire family.
Each opened December 13, the Museum presents Museum Mind Benders, Home for the Holidays, The Story Book Forest and the return of their popular Mega Model Trains. All exhibitions at the Morris Museum are FREE with Museum admission.
Mega Model Trains

Train enthusiasts will marvel at the return of their spectacular 288-square foot interactive model train display. New features this season include model trains from Thomas and Friends and The Polar Express. The Model Trains were a generous gift of Mondelēz International. Also on view is a collection of photographs of historic trains by Homer R. Hill, on loan from Jean Hill and the Tri-State Railway Historical Society.
Museum Mind Benders

Featuring over twenty puzzle stations, this interactive display provides visitors of all ages with hours of entertainment. Sponsored by the Walter F. & Alice Gorham Foundation.

Enjoy an exhibition of dollhouses, miniature rooms, and childrens tea sets from the Morris Museum collection. Explore their new eighteen-room doll house room display.
Story Book Forest

The museum's annual display of childrens literature-themed holiday trees decorated by local school children will inspire the entire family. This years featured books include The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff, Charlottes Web by E.B. White and many others.
