DALLAS, TX.- An important Tiffany Studios Leaded Glass and Bronze Golden Turtleback Tile Lamp, circa 1910, is expected to sell for $100,000+ in Heritage Auctions' Dec. 4 Tiffany, Lalique & Art Glass Signature Auction in New York. The auction's more than 350 lots also include an outstanding selection of Galle, Daum, several fine pieces of French pate-de-verre by Walter and Argy Rousseau, and a private collection of Italian artistic studio glass from several prominent Murano makers.

"This auction offers an extensive private collection of Tiffany glass and bronze desk items, including some very rare models in exceptional condition," said Nick Dawes, Vice President of Special Collections at Heritage Auctions. "As always, Heritage is pleased to present another strong showing of works by Rene Lalique, including several classics in addition to jewelry designs, vases and automobile mascots."

Heritage's global reputation as a leader in Lalique at auction is well represented in a stunning Amber Serpent Vase, circa 1924, standing 9-3/4" high, which may hammer for $40,000+ and a wheel-carved Tourbillons Vase with Black Enamel detail, circa 1926, may also sell for $40,000+. A superb, original Victoire Mascot Hood Ornament, circa 1928, may bring $20,000+, and a vivid electric blue Perruches Vase, circa 1919, from France and with a wheel-carved signature, is likewise expected to sell for $20,000+.

Important early works by Tiffany remain in high demand and an extraordinary Tiffany Studios Favrile Morning Glory paperweight vase, circa 1900, engraved L.C.T. is sure to draw interest at its $25,000 estimate. Among the selection of Tiffany Studios lamps include a leaded glass and bronze Apple Blossom table lamp, circa 1910, is expected to bring $12,000+, and a bronze and Favrile 10-light Lily lamp, circa 1910, may cross the block for $20,000+.

Notable discoveries include a 16-piece Grapevine pattern desk set, circa 1915, all fully marked Tiffany Studios, New York, which is expected to bring $7,000+, and a rare Grapevine pattern adjustable desk lamp, which is expected to sell for $2,000+. A Gallé Overlay Tall Bottleneck Floral Vase, of unusual form and standing a full 21" high and dating to 1900, is expected to bring $5,000+.

The auction also features a final section of 100 hand-picked lots of affordable art glass to include a wide variety of American and European art glass.
