LONDON.- Auction house Christie's has a $103 Million week and broke six world records for individual artists. This is the best week the auction house has had for a decade. Maurice de Vlaminck's La Seine a Chatou was sold for $10 million dollars, the most expensive work sold this week. There were new auction records for Glenn Brown, Thomas Demand, Andreas Gursky, Franz Marc, Pierre Soulages and Maurice de Vlaminck. This week there was also the global best-ever price for a contemporary photograph.
