LONDON.- Art13 London, the citys new global art fair, is the first modern and contemporary art fair to showcase galleries from all over the world, with a major presence from Asia, the Middle East, Africa as well as western Europe and the Americas.
Featuring over 100 galleries from more than 30 countries, Art13 London is delighted to announce the galleries selected for London First a curated section featuring young galleries from around the world who will be participating at a London fair for the first time.
Furthermore, Charles Saumarez Smith CBE, Secretary and Chief Executive of Londons Royal Academy of Arts joins the Global Advisory Board of Art13 London, which already features strong international representation.
Art13 London will take place at Olympia Grand Hall, London from 1-3 March 2013 (VIP Preview: 28 February 2013).
ANNOUNCING LONDON FIRST GALLERY LIST
Art13 London announced the gallery list for London First, a curated section of the Fair featuring 17 young galleries under six years. The selection has been advised by leading curator and academic, Lisa Le Feuvre.

CHARLES SAUMAREZ SMITH JOINS ADVISORY BOARD
Art13 London announced the addition of Charles Saumarez Smith CBE, Secretary and Chief Executive of Londons Royal Academy of Arts, to the Fairs global Advisory Board. Charles Saumarez Smith commented:
'Im delighted to join the Advisory Board of Art13 London. Im impressed with the Fairs commitment to bring art from Asia, the Middle East and Africa to London, reflecting the citys burgeoning importance within the art world. Such global ambition is also important to the Royal Academy of Arts and were very excited to present the work of Japanese artist Mariko Mori towards the end of this year.
