LONDON.- Sothebys announced the appointment of Yamini Mehta as International Head of Indian and Southeast Asian Antiquities / Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art. Based in London, Yamini will be in charge of Sothebys worldwide selling strategy for the two related South Asian areas, working with our team of international experts and developing key relationships with Sothebys Indian clients. A veteran of the Indian Art market, Yamini joins Sothebys after 14 years at Christies where, since 2006, she has headed the London Modern and Contemporary Indian Art department.
