LONDON.- Sotheby’s London Sale of Finest and Rarest Wines is to present a triple bill of perfection this 12 September 2012. A Burgundy cellar, a selection of Vega Sicilia and an Italian Wine collection are “such stuff as dreams are made on", and stand poised to steal this Autumn’s vinous stage. The sale is set to realise £1 - £1.3 million.
The sale begins with a superb Burgundy collection featuring over 200 lots of the very best that this glorious region can produce.
Recently removed from the cellars of an historic English Country house, this collection displays the depth and richness of the Côte d’Or’s most magical domains. Studded with glittering names from DRC to Jayer, Dujac to Rousseau, de Vogüé to Roumier, Leroy to Fourrier, Grivot to Gros, Méo Camuzet to Mongeard Mugneret, the cellar boasts vintages from 1955 to 1990.
