Ketterer conquers Düsseldorf: New location for fine art on the Rhine
Lydia Kumor and Ralf Radtke (above) are in charge of the new Ketterer Kunst representative office in Düsseldorf, Germany.

MUNICH.- Ketterer Kunst will open its new representative office in Düsseldorf on May 23 with highlights of the June auction. Among them will be works by renowned artists such as Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Gabriele Münter, Emil Nolde, Serge Poliakoff, Pierre Soulages and Andy Warhol.

”It's been a long lasting concern of mine to offer our clients in the Rhineland a more personal service”, said Robert Ketterer. He continued: “With Lydia Kumor and Ralf Radtke as heads of the new office, two experts of fine art from the 15th to the 21st century are now at disposal for appraisal and evaluation”.

While Ralf Radtke has been Ketterer Kunst's representative in Krefeld for four years - this location will now merge with the new facility on Malkastenstraße 11 - Lydia Kumor has previously been working for the renowned Düsseldorf gallery Margret Heuser.

The new rooms with some 100 square meters are in direct vicinity to the shopping and businness streets Königsallee and Schadowstraße with a view onto ”Malkasten-Park” in the exclusive Hofgarten area in Düsseldorf Pempelfort.

Since it was founded in 1954, Ketterer Kunst has been firmly established in the front ranks of auction houses dealing in fien art and rare books, with its headquarters in Munich and a branch in Hamburg. Gallery rooms in Berlin as well as representatives in Heidelberg and Krefeld, now Düsseldorf, have contributed substantially to the company's success. In addition, exhibitions, special theme and charity auctions as well as online auctions are regular events at Ketterer Kunst. Robert Ketterer is auctioneer and owner of Ketterer Kunst.
