Photo to Painting: Cheapoilpainting.com Enters the Market

LOS ANGELES, CA.- Cheapoilpainting.com has been in the art reproduction business for many years. The company has a team of talented artists on staff, able to create skillful reproductions of a huge catalog of famous paintings. Recently, Cheapoilpainting.com decided to enter the painting from pictures market.

The photo to painting market has been booming in recent years. As Olivia Preston, VP of Marketing at Cheapoilpainting.com puts it, "As the cost of high-definition cameras goes down, consumers are able to take better and better photographs. Sometimes, they love the photos so much that they want to display them. But putting a print of a photograph up on the wall can look a bit tacky, as though you can't afford high-end art. That's when the photo to paint process really comes in handy. A digital photograph can quickly be transformed into a substantial piece of art, ready to be displayed."

Cheapoilpainting.com got into the business of painting from pictures at the request of their clients. "We had a number of people ask us if we could turn their photos into canvas artwork, and each time the request was made, we had to figure out what to charge for the service. It became a bit of a problem for our customer service representatives," Preston says. "So we decided to standardize our processes and our pricing, so people can quickly place an order and know exactly how much the completed painting will cost and when it will be delivered."

When an order is placed, clients can specify how tall and wide the painting will be. Since the paintings are made by hand, not by computer, clients don't need to worry over distortion. In a computer-generated painting, stretching the image horizontally could cause faces and backgrounds to look warped and stretched. When an artist hand paints the image, however, the artist can adjust proportions with ease, to make sure that the image looks natural.

Clients can also request modifications, such as eliminating the background detail, adding an additional person or changing the overall color scheme. The artists at cheapoilpainting.com are adept with making these changes while they're transforming a picture to painting.

Cheapoilpainting.com has been offering the service for a few months, and Preston has high hopes for its success. "We know we're providing a service unlike anything else out there. It's unusual to find a company that will use real artists when they're transforming a picture into a painting," Preston says. "We think our unique business model will bring us great success in this competitive marketplace."
