SYRACUSE, NY.- Join the Everson Museum of Art for Artist Open on May 21 at 6 p.m. Artists Kim Waale and Leo Crandall will present a temporary site-based installation consisting of objects and projections, that will illuminate the Everson’s Mather Court. Artist Open occurs during Th3, and is free and open to the public.

“The May Artist Open offers the community an opportunity to experience a visually intriguing and multi-sensory installation,” said Pam McLaughlin, Everson Museum of Art Curator of Education and Public Programs. “By moving through and around the objects, images and sounds, viewers are invited to interact with the work as well as become part of it.”

The Artist Open exhibition and discussion will be held during Th3, Syracuse ’s city wide art open. Th3 takes place every third Thursday of the month from 5 to 8 p.m. Twenty-two visual art venues participate in the monthly event and offer unique exhibits and events specific to each venue.
