June 1 – 5
Art Express: Very Impressive (ages 4 – 6)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Explore Turner to Cézanne: Masterpieces from the Davies Collection and create work in the styles of Cézanne, Monet, Renoir and other great artists. Campers learn about Impressionism and create their own impressive work of art. $125 or $100 for members.
Not Easily Impressed: Turner to Cézanne (ages 7 – 10)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Young artists learn about the Impressionist movement in art history by viewing works from the exhibition Turner to Cézanne: Masterpieces from the Davies Collection and create their own Impressionist work in the studio. $135 or $108 for members.
June 8 – 12
Art Express: Art All Around (ages 4 – 6)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Campers go outside to discover public art in the form of sculpture. After a discussion about terms such as three-dimensional, children create their own sculpture. $125 or $100 for members.
Sew Simple (ages 7 – 10)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
The art of sewing is popular again. Participants in this five-day camp learn how to read a pattern, select fabric, sew on machines and add decorative details such as appliqué or beading to a finished piece. The camp includes a field trip to the House of Fabrics on Main Street for fabric selection. $150 or $120 for members.
Creative Photography (ages 11 – 14)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Campers learn about the photographic process and creative ways to use a photographic image. They create a variety of photographic artworks through a mix of old-fashioned materials and current digital processes. $150 or $120 for members.

Heroes and Villains: Comic Book Camp (ages 7 – 10)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
This five-day camp takes students through the basics of comic book creation as they sketch, develop storylines and ink their own comics. Students also learn basic concepts of design, perspective and figure drawing. $135 or $108 for members.
Ceramics (ages 11 – 14)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
This camp provides a good introduction to the medium of clay. In this five-day camp, students explore various beginning techniques in the art of ceramics including throwing, hand building and glazing. $190 or $152 for members.
June 22 – 26
Art Express: Get on the Green Express (ages 4 – 6)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Using nature as inspiration, campers create “green” works of art out of recycled and low carbon footprint materials. $125 or $100 for members.
Go Green or Go Home (ages 7 – 10)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
Campers explore ways artists can reduce their carbon footprint by creating art out of natural and recycled materials. $135 or $108 for members.
The Art of Japanese Gyotaku (ages 11 – 14)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Come learn about Japanese culture and one of their most popular art forms, Gyotaku! $150 or $120 for members.

Sew Much More (ages 11 – 14)

Do you have all the clothes in the world and nothing to wear? Creating fashions that express and complement your own personal style can be fun and simple. In this five-day beginner to intermediate sewing camp, aspiring “fashionistas” learn how to read a pattern, select clothing fabrics, sew on a machine, and add decorative touches to finished pieces. The camp includes a field trip to House of Fabrics on Main Street for fabric selection. $150 or $120 for members.

Art Express: My Colorful Days (ages 4 – 6)

Turn colors upside down and all around! Learn about mixing colors, make a color wheel, and create a larger than life painting based on ideas from the exhibition, Cleve Gray: Man and Nature. $125 or $100 for members.
Ceramics 101 (ages 7 – 10)

Explore the versatile world of silkscreen printing. Students use multiple screen-printing techniques to make graphic posters, t-shirts and more. $150 or $120 for members.

Join the revelry as we travel back in time to the Renaissance. Campers create a coat of arms, make a treasure box for all your royal gold and jewels, and see great works of art. $125 or $100 for members.
Sock Monsters! (ages 7 – 10)
9:00 a.m. – Noon
What happens to those missing socks? They grow up to become SOCK MONSTERS! Join us to take part in this rarely seen occurrence! $135 or $108 for members.

This three-day workshop was inspired by Bravo channel’s hit show Project Runway. Participants create a vest or dress from paper. Campers spend time in the galleries looking for color and design ideas, sketch, cut patterns and assemble their pieces. No sewing required. The final half hour of the camp consists of a fashion show in the galleries. Parents are invited. $90 or $72 for members.
July 22 - 24
Skate and Create (ages 11 – 14)
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Draw and paint skateboard graphics on a real deck. This is a chance to customize a deck with a Pro Model, band graphic or anything else. Hit the streets with your art or hang it on the wall! $100 or $80 for members.
August 5 – 7
