Swiss Theater Company Performs for Families at Wexner Center for the Arts

COLUMBUS, OH.- Switzerland’s Theater Sgaramusch performs the production Wolf Under the Bed—a series of scary stories—January 16–17 as part of the Wexner Center’s International Performing Arts Series for Families. Theater Sgaramusch found inspiration for Wolf Under the Bed in 12 scary and funny stories written by schoolchildren from the group’s hometown of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Using these tales, the company created a simple production, performed by three actors, that sends shivers down the spine. With a live music score played by a guitarist, Wolf Under the Bed (recommended for ages 7 and up) is an entertaining production that explores kids’ imaginary fears with just the right degree of scare-your-pants-off spookiness. Writes The Daily Telegraph (Sydney), "For parents seeking more thought-provoking entertainment for their children, this is hard to beat."

While in town, the company will also perform shows for local school groups.
