NEW YORK.-St. George's Church presents the exhibit Altered States - Art and Faith Contact through May 18. St. George's Church in Flushing is pleased to announce the launch of its Artist Residency Program with Altered States Art and Faith. This exhibition brings together works by a diverse group of international artists and seeks to encourage dialogue on our changing responses to accepted notions of faith and the role it plays within the modern cultural landscape.
The show will take place in several locations within the church including the chapel and the newly created Francis Lewis Gallery, providing an interesting and relevant context for the works and the questions they pose.
Jared C. Deery, Lara Duren, Vivienne Griffin, Darren Jones, Ellie Krakow, Shawn Powell, Ryan Roa, Aida Sehovic, Luke Thorpe, Jo Wilmot. The exhibit has been curated by Darren Jones
