AKRON, OH.-Ellen Rudolph has been named Curator of Exhibitions for the Akron Art Museum , bringing with her a diverse set of skills and a strong commitment to community interaction. Rudolph will coordinate the museum’s traveling exhibition schedule and originate new exhibitions for the museum. She received her Master of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and was formerly the Assistant Curator of the Progressive Corporation’s art collection. In addition, she worked as an independent curator and manager of private collections in the Cleveland area for four years and worked at Sotheby’s in New York for three years.
