LOS ANGELES, CA.-Bonhams & Butterfields, international fine arts auctioneers, is pleased to announce the November 11th and 12th , 2007 Sunset Estate Auction in Los Angeles. The monthly sale has gained recognition throughout the auction and interior design communities as the place to be, the place to shop, the place to enhance your personal style and to celebrate your unique home.

The November Sunset Estate Auction will present a large selection of designer furnishings. Aptly named "The Designer Sale," the auction will be an exciting event featuring over 500-lots of designer furnishings as well as period examples from the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries for all tastes and trends. A collection of fine art including paintings, prints and sculpture is expected to attract bidder interest as well. The sale begins Sunday and continues on Monday. The Nov. 12th session will feature 150-lots of estate jewelry, Asian works of art, natural history, silver and silver plate, rugs and carpets, as well as books and manuscripts.

The November auction will coincide with a special event hosted by Bonhams & Butterfields presenting acclaimed interior designer Peter Dunham. An afternoon discussion will include his insights on new trends in home décor, how to mix and match at varied price points, iconic "must-haves," insider tips from a professional designer about buying at auction and how to update your home decor.

With a long "Who's Who" list of celebrity clientele, Dunham is known throughout the Hollywood community and around the world as a designer to the stars. His innovative and casual, yet elegant interiors and fabric designs have been featured in publications including: Elle Décor, House Beautiful, Maison Française and The New York Times, Los Angeles Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter, among others. The discussion will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. (reservations are required as space is limited).
