DALLAS, TX.-The Uptown Dallas Association will host the fall Uptown Dallas Art Walk Thursday, October 11, 2007 in the neighborhood’s gallery district. The quarterly Uptown Gallery Walk is held to promote awareness of the visual arts in the heart of Uptown, by providing art lovers a fun opportunity to wander between more than 17 participating galleries and venues around Uptown, each offering a variety of art.

The majority of the galleries are situated along Fairmount Street with McKinney Avenue Trolley providing transportation to galleries that are not. Some of Uptown’s hottest restaurants will showcase appetizers at each gallery, and a diverse selection of live music and entertainment provided in collaboration with The Dallas Opera will round out the evening.

Participating galleries include: Accent Gallery, Christopher H. Martin Gallery 5, Eagles Antiques, Fairmount Gallery, Galerie Kornye, Galerie Kornye Studio Three, Gallerie Pierra, Museum of Geometric and MADI Art, Reflection Fine Art, Riddell Rare Maps, Studio 2600, The MAC, Uptown Vision, Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas and Via Pelle.
