LONDON.-Frieze Art Fair and frieze, the international magazine for contemporary art and culture, will re-launch the website frieze.com on Monday, 24 September 2007.

For the first time, a unique and rich cultural archive canvassing sixteen years of frieze in monographs, features, reviews and images will be free to all visitors of the site*. The complete archive is searchable by writer, city, gallery or artist.

The frieze archive includes Turner Prize winning artist Damien Hirst’s first ever published interview in 1991.

frieze.com will feature five new online-only and up-to-the-minute reviews every week from around the world; opinion and debate from frieze editors and regular writers together with the magazine’s respected city reports and analysis.

The new site will showcase video work by artists featured in frieze. Further audio and visual elements will be provided by over 30 downloadable talks from Frieze Art Fair and the Frieze Film commissions presented online.

The new site will have updates on the galleries participating at Frieze Art Fair, full details of the fair’s critically acclaimed curatorial programme, and details of how to enter its annual Cartier Award.

Registered users of frieze.com will be able to engage directly with the frieze editors Dan Fox, Joerg Heiser, Jennifer Higgie and James Trainor through the unique ‘Comment’ section. This interactive blog will ensure frieze.com is the definitive site for opinions on contemporary art.
