SEOUL, KOREA.- Just as it was in Miami in December 2006, White Cube Berlin is visiting the KIAF in Korea this May, where they will introduce the new design by Adolf Krischanitz within the framework of the realistic possibility of erecting a temporary Kunsthalle on the Berliner Schlossplatz from 2007 to 2010. Ten Berlin galleries will introduce their programs in over 500 square meters of space at the Korea International Art Fair (KIAF).

In cooperation with the White Cube Berlin , the joint presentation will expand on, both spatially and contextually, the idea of Berlin as an art center with the help of the BERLIN LOUNGE. The international importance of Berlin as a location for the production of contemporary art is demonstrated by the project “Temporary Kunsthalle Berlin ,“ designed by the architect Adolf Krischanitz, as well as by the Berlin-Loop by the photographer Jan Sobottka. The Landesverband Berliner Galerien e. V (LVBG) (Berlin Gallery Association) will provide additional information.

Daily discussions with gallery owners and partners, which will take place between 15h and16h in the Berlin Lounge, will also create a forum for exchange about the art metropolis Berlin .
