NEW YORK, NY.- James-Keith Brown, President of the New Museum’s Board of Trustees, and Massimiliano Gioni, Toby Devan Lewis Director of the New Museum, today announced the appointment of ten new members to the Board of Trustees: Donald Capoccia, Christina Hribar, Adriane Iann, Ambassador Randi Levine, Jennifer Levitt, Liza Mauer, Debbie Rechler, Juliana Siqueira de Sá, Sara Story, and Lisa Watson.

“As we enter a new era for the New Museum in our recently opened, OMA-designed building expansion, we are delighted to welcome to the Board of Trustees these exceptional individuals who bring broad experience and global perspectives aligning with the New Museum’s mission,” said James-Keith Brown, President of the New Museum’s Board of Trustees.

Donald Capoccia is Co-Founder and Managing Principal of BFC Partners, a New York City–based real estate development, general construction and asset management company. BFC has developed and built over 20,000 residential units and over 1 million square feet of retail, commercial, and community space. Mr. Capoccia has served as Trustee or Director of numerous public authorities and commissions, including the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, New York City Water Board, United Nations Development Corporation, New York State Council on the Arts and Battery Park City Authority. He has served on boards of numerous private, trade, and nonprofit organizations, including the Real Estate Board of New York, La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, New York State Association for Affordable Housing, and L’Alliance New York.





Christina Hribar is a costume designer for film and television based between New York City and Sag Harbor. She has worked on projects such as the television series “Power,” “The Affair,” and “Task,” as well as the films The Bikeriders and Kill Your Darlings. A dedicated supporter of the arts, Christina has been involved with the New Museum since 2019 as a Friend of the Triennial and a member of the Artemis Council, contributing to initiatives including the former Lobby Gallery and the artist residency program. She also serves on the boards of the Watkinson Library at Trinity College, where she earned her BA in Art History, and the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum.

Adriane Iann is a collector and philanthropist based in Germany. She is a trustee of SFMOMA and a member of the International Circle at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She has supported several exhibitions at SFMOMA, including solo exhibitions of Samson Young (December 2024–June 2025); Mary Lovelace O’Neal (2024); Toyin Ojih Odutola (2022); Charles Gaines (2021); Rodney McMillian (2019); Etel Adnan (2018), and others. Adriane is also a member of the International Council Museum Berggruen and the Friends of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.

Ambassador Randi Levine is a Distinguished Fellow at the Atlantic Council's Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, and the Chair of the Global Engagement Committee for the Board of Trustees at Meridian International Center. She served on the New Museum's Board of Trustees in 2019 before stepping down to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Portugal in 2022. As Ambassador, she launched an Arts in Embassies exhibition at Casa Carlucci, mobilizing 29 American and Portuguese artists and convening ongoing public programming, panels, and community events that expanded the Embassy’s network and visibility. Ambassador Levine also holds leadership positions at leading cultural and academic institutions including the High Line and the National Portrait Gallery.

Jennifer Levitt has been a champion of arts and civic engagement, community well-being, and social equity for over twenty-five years. She has served as an impactful leader in several arts, education, and human services organizations through board service, political advocacy, and large-scale fundraising efforts. She has led efforts to expand organizational footprints, plan strategically, build mission aligned governance structures, and foster inclusive practices for organizations like Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, and Jewish Family Service of San Diego. Jennifer is also a trustee of the Friends of the High Line Board of Directors, a member of the Friends of the High Line Plinth Committee, and a member of the New Museum's Artemis Council.

Liza Mauer is the current Co-President of the Art Gallery of Ontario Board of Trustees. Liza has been on the AGO Board of Trustees for ten years where she has served as a Vice President and chaired its Advancement and Education and Programming committees. Prior to the AGO, Liza served seven years on the board of The Power Plant—two of those as vice chair—and five years on the North American Tate Acquisitions Committee. Liza is also a founding member and past President of Partners in Art (PIA), a Canadian not-for-profit that funds and champions contemporary visual art through philanthropy and arts education. She is currently on the Advisory Panel for the Delfina Foundation, an organization dedicated to artists’ exchange and development, and a Vice President at the Vega Foundation.

Debbie Rechler is a philanthropist and art collector whose collection spans a range of mediums with a particular emphasis on works by women artists and artists of color. She is a founding member of the Artemis Council at the New Museum, a member of Art21, and a board member of Ma's House, a nonprofit art space on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton, New York. Debbie also supports the Friends of the 2026 New Museum Triennial.

Juliana Siqueira de Sá is an attorney with degrees in Law from PUC-SP, Economics from FGV-SP, and Art History studies at Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires. She is the founder of SdS Advocacia e Transformação and served as Vice President, Director, and Board Member of the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) from 2014 to 2024. She has been actively engaged in cultural and philanthropic initiatives in Brazil and internationally, including leadership and advisory roles with institutions such as MALBA, El Museo del Barrio, the Met Breuer, the New Museum, Inhotim, and the Venice Biennale. She is a member of the International Leadership Council at the New Museum, participates in the Cercle de l’Académie of the Paris Opera (AROP), and serves as Vice President of the Pact Against Hunger.

Sara Story is the founder of her eponymous AD100 design firm that has been recognized in Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Galerie, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times. In 2023, Sara introduced an artist residency program based in Center Point, Texas, to further the town’s revitalization program by drawing in rigorous art and culture, including educational programs, to the community. Sara is also a supporter and former board member of Ballroom Marfa, a contemporary art space in Marfa, Texas, with a focus on allowing freedom of artistic expression through culturally impactful art. Sara is an active member of the Artemis Council of the New Museum and the Design Leadership Network.

Lisa Watson is an experienced sports and outdoor activity marketer, serving in leadership positions at Red Bull and The North Face, working across categories including skiing, snowboarding, surfing, running, and climbing. Currently, Lisa is a marketing strategy advisor for non-profit organizations, athletes, start-ups, and related organizations, bringing a combination of high-level strategy and detailed executional perspective to growing organizations.
