COLOGNE, GERMANY.-The Tease Art Fair aims to establish a forum for cutting-edge, contemporary art ranging from to the programmatic to the experimental in the Rhine-Ruhr region, both for those interested in art in general as well as curators, exhibition and other art event organisers, gallery owners and art mediators. Tease will fill a gap in the Rhine region’s prestigious art fair calender, in terms of when it is held as well as geographically. Instead of presenting new works by established artists, this event will provide opportunities to discover new artists with work that is rarely shown in a conventional art fair context.

Who can participate? The competition is aimed at new galleries, artist-run spaces, local art societies, projects, curators, artists’ groups as well as individual artists. Each contribution to the Tease Art Fair should reflect the participating exhibitor’s intentions and focus. The idea is to provide a forum for art that is rarely shown in such a context, works of the highest quality.
