NEW YORK.- On March 27th, 2007, former French Finance Minister Jean-Pierre Fourcade will present in New York the ambitious academic, cultural and scientific project for the Ile Seguin in Boulogne-Billancourt (France).

Built on the historic automobile site of the Ile Seguin, in the outskirt of Paris, the 183-acre project will house America’s largest academic center in Europe, the most prestigious cultural center in France, and a world-renowned center for public health and knowledge sharing.
“Far from building up barriers between their different activities, these international hubs are conceived to create synergies and thus bring them closer together,” explains Jean-Pierre Fourcade. “The Ile Seguin will thus become by itself a brand name for academic knowledge, cultural creation, and scientific development.”
Key speakers include: Francois Delattre, French Consul in New York; Jean-Pierre Fourcade, Deputy Mayor of Boulogne-Billancourt; John Sexton, Chairman of New York University; Gerardo della Paolera, Chairman of the American University of Paris; Alain Peyraube, French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS); Christine Lepage, Deputy Director of the French National Institute for Cancer (INCa).
