WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.- The Norton Museum of Arts Board of Trustees has elected two new members, Kimberly Bluhm and Robin Loewenberg Tebbe.
This is an exciting time for the Norton Museum of Art, said Kelly Williams, Norton Board Chair. The passion and depth of experience Kimberly and Robin bring to the Board will be invaluable as the Norton continues to grow.
Kimberly Bluhms deep interest in art and culture began when she lived in Budapest from 1998 to 2001 as the wife of the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary. While in that diplomatic role, she visited museums and provided input on the art program for ambassadorships. Later, with encouragement from her husband, Neil, she became involved with the Whitney Museum in New York City and the Art Institute in Chicago, where he served in major roles on both boards. She enjoys visiting artist studios and has developed a deep love for art and collecting. She has acquired art over the last few years by such artists as Olafur Eliasson, Rashid Johnson, and Roy Lichtenstein.
In addition to the Norton, she has served on the boards of Jazz Aspen and Miami Dade Impact, is involved in the Foundation for the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and serves on the Chairmans Cabinet of Palm Beach Police and Fire Foundation.
Bluhm and her husband, Neil, the co-founder of JMB Realty, Walton Street Capital, and Rush Street Gaming, divide their time between Palm Beach, Chicago, Aspen, Colorado, and Miami.
Robin Loewenberg Tebbe is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a degree in Interior Architecture. Until her retirement, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of her family-owned real estate firm, Magellan Development Group in Chicago, where she was involved in developing multifamily high-rise residential properties, hotels, and property management throughout the country.
She is President of LIFT Management and the Loewenberg Charitable Foundation, her family office and charitable foundation. She serves as a Trustee of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, and Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado. Past boards include the Arts Club of Chicago, Chicago Architecture Center, Chicago Architectural Biennial, and Navy Pier Chicago. She received the Golden Vest Award from the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
Her husband, Mark Tebbe, is a tech entrepreneur and investor as well as a Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. They have four children between them and spend time in their homes in Chicago, Palm Beach, Aspen, Colorado, and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
