DALLAS, TX.- Heritage Auctions announced that Reyne Hirsch, a nationally recognized authority on 20th-century design and a widely respected voice in the world of fine art and collecting, has joined the company as Vice President and Managing Director of Fine & Decorative Arts and Luxury, effective February 5.
Hirsch brings a multifaceted career spanning scholarship, connoisseurship, entrepreneurship and media. For more than two decades, she has been a trusted appraiser and advisor to collectors, estates and investment firms, known for her ability to evaluate objects ranging from rare watches to museum-quality fine art valued in the tens of millions of dollars.

The Texas-based Hirsch is perhaps best known for her 13-season tenure as on-air talent for PBS’ Emmy-nominated Antiques Roadshow. She has also appeared on CBS’ The Early Show, MSNBC’s Treasure Detectives and the History Channel’s American Pickers, bringing informed and accessible insight to a broad national audience.
Her media work includes hosting and co-producing The Art of Collecting, a weekly program on Houston NBC affiliate KPRC, and RideTV’s Ridiculous Ranches. In print, she has written for or been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Robb Report, BusinessWeek and MarketWatch. She has also contributed to several books on collecting and authored The Art of Glass for the Dayton Art Museum, along with multiple publications on wristwatch collecting.
In 2023, Hirsch became co-owner of Dallas Auction Gallery, a respected Texas auction house founded in 2002 and known for its Fine Art, Antiques, Jewelry and Texas Art offerings. In 2026, she made the strategic decision to close the gallery and bring her experience and vision to Heritage Auctions.

In her new role, Hirsch will lead Heritage’s Fine & Decorative Arts division, which includes Luxury, overseeing categories closely aligned with her background and long-standing engagement with collectors. Her appointment coincides with the retirement of Ed Beardsley, Vice President and Managing Director, Fine & Decorative Arts, who will step down at the end of March after 17 years with Heritage Auctions.
