|

Buoyed by this vibrant, cosmopolitan edition, the KIKK team is already preparing its 15th edition, set for October 2125, 2026: a celebration that promises to be even bolder, more inclusive, and more inspiring.

NAMUR.- From October 23 to 26, 2025, the city of Namur pulsed to the rhythm of the KIKK Festival, whose 14th edition brought together over 20,000 visitors and 3,000 digital creatives. This year's theme Boom Boom Tchak explored the reverberations between music, technology, and society through a packed lineup of installations, talks, and festive evenings.
A boldly international edition
This year, KIKK embraced its global reach more than ever. Nearly 50 nationalities converged in Namur: artists, researchers, designers, and entrepreneurs from Europe, Asia, and the United States. The KIKK Market featured projects from over 20 countries, turning the Place dArmes into a buzzing crossroads of creative innovation. Forty international speakers shared their visions on todays most pressing topics from artificial intelligence and VR/XR to design, music, and interactive storytelling.
When the city becomes the instrument
For four days, Namur transformed into a true open-air lab for artistic experimentation. Nearly 30 digital art installations took over a dozen iconic venues. Two highlights stood out: a monumental sound piece by Swiss artist Zimoun, exhibited at the Institut Saint-Louis, and an immersive show by Le Pavillon, where light and frequencies invited visitors into a unique, contemplative experience.
KIKK Market: a playground of digital curiosities
In the large tent on Place dArmes, startups, studios, artists, and collectives blended the worlds of music, design, and technology. Between interactive demos, XR creations, gaming zones, and print workshops, the space brimmed day and night with creative energy culminating in showcases and DJ sets that kept the vibe going well into the night.
A festival for everyone
Through KIKK in Town, the festival reached a wide audience from families to art and sound enthusiasts. Interactive works like La Machine à Tubes captured childrens imaginations, while immersive installations drew curious visitors of all ages. Family Sunday, supported by the Namur Youth Service, was fully booked reaffirming KIKKs mission to make digital culture accessible to all.
