GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY presented its recent Fall Estates auction on October 18th, 2025, offering Contemporary and Modern Art, along with a selection of fine Decorative Arts, as top-selling favorites, all coming from various prominent estates.

Always popular at Roland, Contemporary Art once again ruled the auction. Taking the top spot of the day was the Robert Natkin (American, 1930-2010) "Intimate Lightening Red" oil on canvas, 1971, in a frame, with the artist's signature and titled at verso, accompanied by an appraisal from David Findlay Junior Inc. [48" H x 96" W, selling for $35,750, followed by a rare Dante Zoi (Italian, Florence, 1880-1920) Art Nouveau white marble figural sculpture of a fairy in flight over a cloud surrounded sphere with astrological decoration and a cherub with butterflies, signed D. Zoi Firenze at lower. [55" H x 31" W x 17" D]. Property from a Kings Point, NY Estate, which sold for $19,500 and a Jean Metzinger (French, 1883-1956) "Paysage" Oil on Canvas, "Paysage" or "Landscape" impressionist oil on canvas, early 20th century, in a carved and parcel gilt Heydenryk frame, signed to lower left, and previously listed in the Sotheby's Impressionist and Modern Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture Sale, February 18, 1988, lot 59, with a Sotheby's tag affixed to rear frame. Also highly notable were the Alphonse Mucha (French, 1860-1939) Art Nouveau Railroad Poster, Art Nouveau railroad poster "Monaco - Mont Carlo", 1897, printed by Champenois Imprimeur-Éditeur, Paris, signed Mucha and dated at lower left, with polychrome and argentone detailing, in a frame. [Sight: 42.25" H x 29" W; frame: 47" H x 33" W], going for $10,400 and the Martiros Saryan (Armenian, 1880-1972) "Persian Still Life" tempera on canvas, 1913, depicting flowers at a table, in a gilt and carved frame, signed and dated to verso. Fine jewelry also had a god showing at Roland, with an Yvel baroque pearl, cognac diamond and 18K yellow necklace and day/night earring set, comprising a necklace of 17 baroque pearls, approximately 14.5 x 17.3mm - 12. x 14.1mm, in warm tones of cream, yellow, gold, carmel and brown, alternating pave-set cognac-colored round brilliant-cut diamonds, total 16.55 carats, together with pair of pave-set cognac colored round diamonds and golden baroque-pearl pendant day/night earrings, diamonds total 2.44 carats, earrings marked 750, selling for $13,000. Always in demand at Roland, a Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk, circa 1900, with LV monogram canvas to outer, wood banding, metal handles, and leather to edges, and interior with diamond form ribbon board to inner lid and fabric lined interior, [23.25" H x 32" D x 20.25" D] sold for $4,875.

A Marx Eugene Clauss Paris Porcelain Jewelry Box, Louis XV style hand-painted jewelry trinket box, French, late 19th century, of rectangular outline, the top depicting maidens with musicians in a landscape, elaborately decorated with gilding, above a hinged case sold for $2,210, while a Regence Bronze Dore & Crystal Palatial Chandelier, 19th century, with a crown form canopy, wheat decoration, twelve girandole arms, six with griffin decoration, and three semi-concealed lights at center, with cut crystal throughout.
