LONDON.- Christie's is hosting a landmark online auction celebrating 200 years of Domaine Faiveley, one of Burgundy's most revered wine estates. Bidding opens 5 November and closes 19 November 2025, offering collectors unprecedented access to the domaine's private cellars, featuring rare vintages, complete Grand Cru verticals, and limited large-format releases.

Founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley, the estate now spans more than 120 hectares across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, including 12 Grand Crus and 21 Premier Crus. For two centuries, Domaine Faiveley has combined tradition and innovation, producing wines of exceptional character, finesse, and longevity.

Edwin Vos, Senior International Director, Head of Collections, Wine & Spirits, Christie's, comments, "This auction offers collectors an extraordinary opportunity to explore Domaine Faiveley's legacy and access some of Burgundy's unparalleled wines. Each lot reflects generations of expertise and care, and we're delighted to bring these rare treasures to the international collecting community.”

Highlights include:

• Musigny 1908 (est. £7,500–9,500), celebrated for its perfume, finesse, and historical significance.

• Jeroboam of Chambertin Clos de Bèze 'Les Ouvrées Rodin' 2012 (est. £3,000–4,000), produced in minute quantities from a treasured parcel.

• Exclusive Domaine Faiveley Experience in Burgundy (est. £6,500), a private lunch or dinner for up to ten guests paired with a vertical tasting spanning nine decades, from Échezeaux En Orveaux 2023 to Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Porêts Saint-Georges 1923.

• Library cellar rarities, including Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley 1923 (est. £1,500–2,000) and Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Porêts Saint-Georges 1945 (est. £1,200–1,800).

This bicentennial auction celebrates two centuries of Domaine Faiveley's stewardship over Burgundy's finest terroirs, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire historic bottles, experience vertical tastings spanning decades, and enjoy wines that reflect the estate's passionate expertise, meticulous craftsmanship, and dedication to outstanding quality and provenance.

Christie's has previously offered a number of exceptional Domaine Faiveley lots to collectors. Notable sales include the Musigny 2010, which achieved HKD 100,000 (£9,490) in Hong Kong in 2021, as well as The Ultimate Private Collection Featuring The Greatest Burgundies on 20 May 2021 and its follow-up on 22–23 May 2022, both of which featured a selection of remarkable Faiveley vintages.
