| Between the Lines To Be Presented |

MIAMI, FL.- Polo Ralph Lauren and Vanity Fair host event at Art Basel Miami celebrating the publication of RxART’S Between the Lines, A Fine Art Coloring Book for Children in Hospitals. Polo Ralph Lauren Senior Vice President David Lauren, Vanity Fair Special Correspondent Bob Colacello, actor and participating artist Dennis Hopper will attend. RxArt, a pre-eminent organization in the field of arts and healthcare, has created a coloring book, Between The Lines, to be distributed free of charge to children in partner hospitals. Ralph Lauren and Vanity Fair join forces in support of RxArt at a cocktail celebration during Art Basel Miami. Invited guests will have the opportunity to purchase one of nine original drawings created exclusively for the book while enjoying cocktails and music by DJ Paul Sevigny.
The 112-page book features the work of over 50 outstanding artists, and was created exclusively for distribution by RxArt. Participating artists include both up-and-coming talent and the renowned, such as Donald Baechler, John Baldessari, Jeremy Blake, Will Cotton, R. Crumb, Dennis Hopper, Gary Hume, Sol LeWitt, Robert Longo, John Lurie, Tom Otterness, Laura Owens, Alexis Rockman, Kenny Scharf, and Christopher Wool, as well as work provided by the estates of Alexander Calder, Keith Haring, Robert Mapplethorpe and Andy Warhol.
A limited number of copies of Between the Lines will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting RxArt, through both rxart.net and polo.com, and at select Ralph Lauren boutiques. Distributed Art Publishers Inc. (D.A.P.), the premier source for high-quality books on art and culture, will sell a limited number of copies of Between the Lines at the retail price of $17.00 through better bookstores and museum shops throughout the U.S.
Founded as a 501C-3 not-for-profit corporation, RxArt displays contemporary artwork in healthcare settings. Since its inception in 2000, RxArt has placed work by numerous artists (including original works by Vito Acconci, Matthew Ritchie, Wolfgang Tillmans, William Wegman and more) in healthcare facilities, as well as commissioned original, often technically ambitious projects for these sites.
