Patek Philippe 18K Yellow Gold Dress Watch, Sold for $10,625.



GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY February 8th Multi-Estates auction featured two notable Patek Philippe watches; one a Patek Philippe Gondolo 18K Gold Dress Watch, manual wind dress wristwatch having a silvery grey dial and a brown alligator style leather band with 18k clasp. Ref. 5111R, 20mm x 25mm face, Geneva Seal hallmarked. With catalog and receipt of sale. Comes with Laco box, which sold for $11,875 and a Patek Philippe 18K Yellow Gold Dress Watch, manual wind dress wristwatch having a tan dial and a black leather band. Ref. No. 3923/J, MVT. 1844314, BTE/Case 2951750, Q.C. Jd, 32mm face diameter. Comes with customer service box, selling for $10,625.


Chinese Ming Dynasty Schist Stone Buddha. Sold for $5,625.

The sale offered a fresh collection of Fine Art & Sculpture, 20th Century Modern, Antique & Vintage Furniture, along with fine jewelry, Rugs, Collectibles, Asian and Decorative Arts from estate finds and private collectors. Also notable was a Chinese Ming Dynasty Schist Stone Buddha, carved schist stone sculpture of Buddha in Varada Mudra with a dealer sticker at lower front. [18.5" H x 8" W x 7" D]. Sold for $5,625, a pair of Monumental Bronze Verdigris Lion Statues, statues of lions, 20th century, each seated [ 51" H x 24" W x 33" D], which sold for $5,312 and a pair of Spanish Colonial Altar Figures, Pair of Spanish colonial altar figures made from carved wood with polychrome, gilt, and estofado decoration, 18th century, likely Mexican. [Taller: 32" H x 11" W x 10" D], selling for $4,375.


Pair of Bagues Manner Crystal Sconces. Sold for $5,312.

In other areas, a pair of Bagues Manner Crystal Sconces, Pair of Maison Bagues manner cut and faceted rock crystal, cut crystal, glass and gilt metal four light urn form sconces with foil backing, French, circa 1930's, with [41.5" H x 24" W x 12" D], brought $5,312 and a Cary's "New Terrestrial Globe", London, England, early 19th century, with a zodiac rim and compass on the stretcher. [39" H x 24" diameter]. Sold for $5,000.

In the Fine Art arena, a Guy Wiggins (American, 1883-1962), Street Scene, Oil on Canvas titled "Looking Down the Street in Winter, New York City," signed lower right. [9 3/4" H x 11 1/2" W ; Frame 17" H x 19" W] Provenance: With label Hammer Gallery, NY. Sold for $5,625, while a George Frederick Hughes (British, fl. 1873-79): Pugs at Play Oil Painting, George Frederick Hughes (British, fl. 1873-79) "Tug O' War" oil on canvas, signed and dated 1879 at lower right, in a gilt frame depicting two puppies and a cat in an elaborately decorated room [Art: 24" H x 36" W; Frame: 37.25 H x 49.25" W], went for $5,000.
