DORAL, FL.- The City of Doral and the Museum of the Americas will open the "International Summer Show" with the participation of contemporary artists from Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, United States and Venezuela. The show was organized by the Museum of the Americas, moved to the city of Doral, Florida, several months ago. An independent Juror will select the "Best in Show" artwork which will receive a free page on the International Artists' Yearbook 2006.

With representatives in different Latin American and European countries, the museum has been invited to show at important international art fairs and to be part of prestigious publications as well as the International Yearbook published in Barcelona, Spain, by the European Communities Artists Library.

The show will be open to the public on Friday, August 11 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and members of the press are welcome. The exhibition will end on September 2 and the museum hours are from Tuesday through Friday, 11-5 and Saturdays 11-4.
