BOSTON MILLS, OH.- Consistently recognized as one of the top fine art and fine craft shows in the country, the Boston Mills Artfest provides Northeast Ohio with a connection to 320 different exhibiting artists and their work. Artfest is a juried show, meaning that the selection of exhibitors is the duty of the jury of selection. Jury members are changed annually, and are selected by the Director from past award-winning exhibitors and other outstanding working artists.

The jury of selection selects 160 artists for each weekend of the Boston Mills Artfest, from applications accepted in the following categories: Traditional Acrylic/Oil, Conceptual Acrylic/Oil, Watercolor, Jewelry, Wood, Graphics/Drawing, Multiple Images (digital and photography), Glass, Whimsical, Sculpture, Ceramics, Wearable Fibers, Furniture, Metal, Decorative Fibers, and Mixed Media. The final list of exhibitors at the shows reflects a balanced representative mix of all of these categories.

2006 marks the 35th consecutive year that the Artfest will be held at Boston Mills Ski Resort, nestled in the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park midway between the Cleveland and Akron metropolitan areas. Children are welcome during the regular show dates and receive a discount on show admission as noted below. We do have an "Art 'N Play" tent in which they can work on their own art and craft projects, and unlock some of their own creativity. Pets are not permitted on the grounds.

On the evening before each show begins, a Preview Night is held so that adult Artfest patrons can view and purchase art while sampling wines and hors d'oeuvres. This Preview Night is open to the public and artists will be on hand to show and sell their works.
