YUKON.- The Yukon Arts Centre presents the exhibit From These Hands is the first major public exhibit by the Territory's largest artist cooperative, Yukon Artists at Work. The exhibition explores the wide variety of practices within the group - from ceramics to mosaics, from glass fusion to jewelry, from batik to fibre arts, from printmaking to drawing from carving to sculpting, and from encaustic to painting - as well as the different styles each member employs in the ultimate pursuit of artistic expression.

The various works also reflect each individual artist's personal view and interpretation of their life and environment within the context of the group as a whole.

The exhibition features works by: Bob Atkinson, Jeanine Baker, Nicole Bauberger, Marten Berkman, John Boivin, Leslie Chapman, Tony Clennett, David Conley, Catherine Deer, Frank Fry, Wayne Garth, Tanya Handley, Heidi Hehn, Jurg Hofer, James Kirby, Lillian Loponen, Ann MacKenzie, Joyce Majiski, Lara Melnick, Daphne Mennell, Helen O'Connor, Rosemary Piper, Patrick Royle, Chris Sherbarth, Lynne Sofiak, John Steins, Harreson Tanner, Kate Williams, Jackie Ziehe.
