HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND.- Researcher Mary Pixley, who works at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, through X-rays, has found a painting hidden behind a 16th-century painting made by Italian artist Gerolomo Bassano. The painting depicts the preparation of Jesus Christ's body to be placed in the tomb, reported NBC4.com. The news channel reported that, X-rays at Washington County Hospital revealed that beneath the painting is a man's face, his upper body and his hands clasped at his waist. The researcher is planning on trying to determine the identity of the man.
