LONDON.- For its first London show,
Initio Fine Arts is unveiling a curated universe of two unique talents of contemporary Design. The strictly geometric, yet refreshingly playful collection of the Hungarian designer Anna Horváth (AHA objects) is showcased alongside the French architect and designer, Reda Amalous (RAD) elegant and organic creations. Through the exploration of contrasting materials and forms, this unprecedented combination will create a dialogue between two distinct design aesthetics.
It is with great excitement, that the exhibition will be held at London's brand-new arts hub, Cromwell Place, set in the heart of London's museum district, moments from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Initio Fine Arts has been selected to be an international member of Cromwell Palace by its membership committee, chaired by Georgina Adam, editor at large of The Art Newspaper.
Initio Fine Arts emphasizes on cross-cultural projects with a focus on Eastern European art and design but also with a sensibility for contemporary French design. Our concept is about combining art and design through curated exhibitions, art fairs and collaborative projects.

ANNA HORVÁTH (Hungary)
b.1989
After its success during the Paris and Budapest Design Week, the Collezione L!Puff is here revisited by Anna Horváth for its London debut. L!Puff is strongly inspired by postmodernism and minimalist design, rooted in the tradition of Bauhaus. Each piece is hand-crafted, made by using a combination of chromed metal, textile, and concrete. Horváths newest furniture piece, the Ta Rita Bench is also presented, commemorating the recently destructed but once emblematic architectural buildings of Malta. Both collections show Horváths dedication to sustainability and her outmost respect to local traditions.
Anna graduated with an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. An architecture degree from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest provided a solid foundation for her spatial design projects.
Anna was part of the winning Design Team for exhibition design of the prestigious Jewish Museum Berlins new Permanent Exhibition. Her window design display was showcased at the London Fashion Week.
After many years of experience in London, Berlin and Lisbon she created her first furniture collection: Collezione L!Puff that has been introduced at the Paris and Budapest Design Week, before its arrival to London. Anna Horváth lives and works in Malta.
REDA AMALOU (France)
b.1963
Reda Amalous design pieces create a subtle sense of warmth and hospitality. His timeless shapes and forms paired with the careful choice of noble materials pay tribute to centuries of craftsmanship. His Panama sculptural screen made from Zapatero walnut is an enigmatic piece, unique and unrepeatable, a signature work of design. Proud of his French and Algerian double culture, Amalous works are inspired by the aesthetic sensibilities of the 20th century, standing as proof of the benefits of multiculturalism and diversity.
Reda Amalou is a French architect and designer. But mostly a creator of experiences. More than 20 years ago, he created AW2, an architecture agency with the desire to take over the space and make it an emotional place. It is with the same evidence that design became a part of his work.
Each one of his creations are telling a story. Either it is about his childhood in Algeria, the Londons chaos he experimented during his studies, or the tumult of his many trips around the globe. Pieces of life, tributes to craftsmanship and multiculturalism, are making their way to interiors with an incredible flow and ease.
Reda Amalou also works with several luxury and design houses like Véronèse, Baguès Paris, Hugues Chevalier. Reda Amalou lives and works in Paris.
